Repeat Prescriptions

Patients may request a repeat prescription by:

  • Returning the counterfoil clearly indicating (by a tick) which items they require
  • Leaving a written request form at the reception desk
  • Ordering online, please ask reception for more details.

The prescription will be available for collection within two working day (48 hours).

Request for repeat prescriptions over the telephone are not accepted (excepting from housebound patients).

Note: When requesting a medication which is not on your repeat list it has to be authorised by the GP and so may take a little longer.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
